From Carcassonne Airport
Head for Carcassonne centre ville D119 leading on to Avenue Henri Gout,
Remain on this road until reaching traffic lights where you are
forced to turn right on to Boulevard Marcou,
Take the left hand lane and at the next traffic lights turn left in
to Boulevard Barbes,
Continue on this inner ring road until you reach Square Gambetta,
Leave Square Gambetta via Pont Neuf which takes you over the river
[sign posted La Cite],
Turn immediately right after the river taking the slip road under the Pont
Vieux bridge,
Turn right on rue Dujardin Beaumetz,
Take 2nd left in to Rue Porte Cote de la Cite,
Then turn left into the Rue de la Barbacane from where you will find
the Church St. Gimer where it is possible to find free parking,
Rue de la Gaffe is the 1st turning off Rue de la Barbacane after the
church.

From Toulouse
Head for Carcassonne on A61,
Exit A61 at J23 Carcassonne,
At first roundabout after the peage turn left following signs for
Salvaza,
Take first exit sign posted centre ville D119 leading on to Avenue
Henri Gout,
Remain on this road until reaching traffic lights where you are
forced to turn right on to Boulevard Marcou,
Take the left hand lane and at the next traffic lights turn left
in to Boulevard Barbes,
Continue on this inner ring road until you reach Square Gambetta,
Leave Square Gambetta via Pont Neuf which takes you over the river
[sign posted La Cite],
Turn immediately right after the river taking the slip road under the Pont
