Toulouse

"The Pink City" is just under an hour by train or car.  Toulouse is a vibrant up and coming city with much recent development and investment and is the home of Airbus.

It has beautiful architecture, the stone used in many cases is pink hence the cities nick name.

Here you will find excellent restaurants and shopping akin to what you would expect of a cosmopolitan city.
